Please join us to celebrate some of the amazing food programing happening in our schools in the CRD!
About this event The past year has seen a huge surge in school gardening and outdoor education, and the Capital Region boasts dozens of inspiring programs led by dedicated school staff, parents, and students. We have selected 3 schools to showcase the work they are doing, and are excited to have the students lead the presentations! The following schools will be profiled: Colquitz Middle (SD61), Millstream Elementary (SD62), Salt Spring Elementary (SD64). Join us to learn about school meal programs, indigenous plant gardens, educational gardens, and get inspired by the stories of the students who tend to these spaces! In partnership with Island Health and CRFAIR.
