The Seniors Social Connections group meets weekly to share a light meal and engage in social time or activities (guest speaker or games). Between meetings, members can be telephoned by the facilitator or a program volunteer, if they request a reminder.
This group is a support to seniors who may be experiencing health concerns, isolation, or depression, and seeks to encourage friendships and connections outside the group meeting times.

The k̓ʷamk̓ʷam éʔəŋ afterschool homework club provides assistance to elementary and middle school students. Students receive an after-school snack, daily gym time and support with homework. University of Victoria students volunteer as tutors. Community partners such as PISES and the Greater Victoria Public Library offer programs to the students. Other activities include planting and harvesting on the rooftop garden, STEM Science Ventures, and music lessons. The program is very popular with students and their families and is having a positive impact on academic success for Songhees Nation.

The Hamper Program was developed at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic to provide food security supports to community members.
The Hamper Program:
– Provides 220 hampers on a weekly basis to families, those sheltering in hotels, individuals, and tenants residing at Siem Lelum and Fernwood house.
– Provides fresh produce, Cobbs bread, Farm and Field meat, Zambris pasta sauce, and non-perishable food items.
– Provides nutritious food and snacks.
– Allows for community to continue being connected to the Victoria Native Friendship Centre through food.
